On Friday, 24^th, the meeting of the Head of the State Service for Maritime, Inland Waterway Transport and Shipping of Ukraine Yevhenii Ihnatenko and Rector of National University «Odesa Maritime Academy» Mykhaylo Miyusov took place. The meeting was also attended by Capt. Stanislav Nezavitin, Head of the newly organized Council of Harbour Masters, Deputy-Rectors of the University, Directors of the Institutes and heads of the training centres.   In the framework of the meeting the prospects of further cooperation were discussed, particularly, future programs and projects.

Mr. Yevhenii Ihnatenko has visited the Institute of Navigation and has acquainted with training simulators’ operation.

During the meeting a Memorandum of Cooperation between The State Service for Maritime, Inland Waterway Transport and Shipping of Ukraine and National University «Odesa Maritime Academy» was signed. Exchanging information about business plans, carrying out joint events (conferences, forums etc.), promoting activities of both parties are the main objectives of the above-mentioned Memorandum.
