Science and Research Library of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”was founded in 1944.

Total amount of items kept at the library is more than 547000, including more than 213000 items of educational materials. The book stock is being systematically completed with new editions.

Complex automation of main library processes using the library software UNILIB has been implemented since 2007. A software complex called Rize Information Systems gives users an access to International normative acts, including Conventions of IMO and other organisations.

A free WI-FI access is available on the territory of the library.
