Training center “Marine Lingua” is a structural subdivision of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”.

The Center fulfills the following activities:

• organizes language courses, seminars, olympiads, exhibitions on a contractual basis;
• provides additional training of cadets and students of NUOMA and students of other educational institutions according to the disciplines of NUOMA;
• conducts special courses, seminars, trainings, internships, professional competence development;
• contributes to the informational provision of the educational process of cadets and students of NUOMA during the training of specialists in maritime specialties;
• organizes practical (on-board) training of cadets and students of NUOMA and other institutions;
• carries out mediation in the employment of cadets and students of NUOMA and other specialists abroad after graduation, including placement on ships of domestic and foreign employers;
• provides additional education, laboratory training and certification of seafarers who aim to work in Ukraine and other countries;
• organizes exhibitions;
• organizes international congresses, conferences, symposia and other events;
• arranges excursion groups of individual visitors on the territories and premises of educational institutions.
