Our congratulations on the victory of NU ”OMA” cadets, who participated in All-Ukrainian competition of students’ scientific works in the speciality of “Geosciences” at Odessa State Environmental University.

On March 20, 2018, the following results were summed up:

– Hamsho Yard Mohamedovich took the second place representing the study on “Peculiarities of weather conditions in the North Atlantic” and was awarded Second Class Honours. Scientific supervisor: Y.S.Medvedeva, Candidate of Geographic Sciences, Associate Professor of Hydrography and Marine Geodesy Department.

– Topchiy Stanislav Olegovich was awarded the diploma “For the introduction of innovative technologies in hydrometeorology” for his study on “Variability of superficial currents of the northern subtropical circulation of the Atlantic Ocean”. Scientific supervisor: Y.S.Medvedeva,Candidate of Geographic Sciences, Associate Professor of Hydrography and Marine Geodesy Department.

– Balakina Anastasia Sergeevna, representing the study on “Analysis of the change in the ice cover of the North Atlantic in Davis Strait and the Labrador Sea” was awarded the diploma “For the high scientific level of the report”. Scientific supervisor: E.E. Malyuga, senior lecturer of Hydrography and Marine Geodesy Department.
