On July 2-6, 2021 Nikolaev hosted the Championship of Ukraine in non-Olympic classes of sailing yachts. More than 70 athletes of 54 yachts took part in the competition. The representative of our university – the crew of the yacht was under the control of the helmsman Mayevsky Ilya (second year student of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Navigation of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”) and won first place and became the Champion of Ukraine in the class of sailing yachts “420” where 11 yachts competed.
