On July 1st, 2022, a meeting of the university leadership with the head of the Greek-Canadian company GREEK CHALLENGE Sotiris Bouzeas and with the representative of the University of the Aegean (UAegean, Greece) Professor Maria Lekaku was held at the National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”.

National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” was represented by the Rector Professor M.V. Miyusov, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Professor V.M. Zakharchenko. and the Head of the International Cooperation Department Chesnokova M.V., PhD.

The National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” and the University of the Aegean reached a new level of cooperation and started a strategic partnership with the GREEK CHALLENGE company within the framework of the international initiative on the innovation and aerospace supercluster TIASI.

The purpose of the partnership is to expand cooperation in the field of higher education and research, simplify access to funding for Canadian, Ukrainian and European educational and scientific institutions and enterprises.

During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”, the University of the Aegean and the GREEK CHALLENGE company.
