On November 6, 2019 HYPACK 2019 Hydrographic Conference began in National University “Odesa Maritime Academy”. The conference was supported by NU “OMA” and the State Hydrographic Service of Ukraine.

The main purpose of the conference was to support the users of HYPACK software in Ukraine and master classes on hydrographic surveys.

The HYPACK was founded by Mr. Patrick Sander in 1989 in USA. It is developing the software for hydrographic surveys. This product is leading in this industry. HYPACK is used by such companies as US Corp of Engineers and NOAA, French, Israeli, Australian and Malaysian NAVY, India Institute of Technology and many other organizations around the world.

The conference was conducted by Mr. Boris Schulze, HYPACK Coordinator in Europe, Middle East and Africa and also by Mr. Ivan Izaak, HYPACK, A Xylem Brand Co. Technical Support Engineer.

Everyone who performs hydrographic surveys is usually interested in the conference, in particular, employees of the State Hydrographic Service of Ukraine, Delta – Pilot, Port Authorities, Marine Register, NIBULON and others.
