On November 23, 2023, legal students of the Institute of Maritime Law and Management of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” attended a meeting with a member of the Committee of the Council of Europe on prevention of torture, a practicing lawyer, a researcher of Eberhard Karl University of Tübingen, a professor of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University, Dmytro Yagunov.

As part of the meeting, Mr. D. Yagunov presented a lecture on “The Phenomenon of Torture in the 21st Century and Prevention of Torture in Europe.”
