II International Student Scientific and Practical Conference “Maritime Law and Management: evolution and current challenges” took place in National University «Odessa Maritime Academy» from 15 to 16 December, 2016.

The participants of the conference discussed the problems of maritime industry under the following thematic areas: international maritime law; private international law; national maritime law; actual issues of law in Ukraine; trends in the development of the maritime economy complex; globalization of maritime transport industry; Ukraine in the integration processes of marine transport.

The conference heard reports on topical issues related to a modern sphere of navigation as well as legal mechanisms to improve the marine economy complex were proposed due to the active participation of cadets, specialists, masters, postgraduates and tutors of Maritime Law and Management Faculty.
