The commander of the Ukrainian Navy personally handed over lieutenant shoulder straps to the parents of prisoners and expressed gratitude for the upbringing of courageous sons, patriots, and real heroes of Ukraine. Besides, he expressed confidence that these lieutenants would certainly become commanders and cope with all difficulties upon returning home. Head of the National Fleet added that among today’s present graduates there were also those who were the first year cadets in 2014 and they were thought to be a model of loyalty to the Military oath and their state.

In addition, the young graduates swore an oath to the officer’s code of honor and held farewell to the battle flag of Naval Institute during the ceremonial ritual.
