On 27–28 February Vadym Zakharchenko, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Activity of NU “OMA” visited Brussels, Belgium to participate in a meeting of representatives of the winning teams of the Erasmus + KA2 Program: Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education (CBHE) from member countries and Program partners with project coordinators from the EU Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency  (EACEA), representatives of the EU Directorate General, EU representations in partner countries, National Erasmus + offices and Erasmus + National Agency.

V.M. Zakharchenko is the National Coordinator in Ukraine of the Erasmus + project “Qualifications recognition support for Ukrainian universities” (QuaRSU). National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” is one of the project partners.

The main goal of the event is to familiarize the representatives of the winning teams of the 2019 competition with CBHE project implementation rules, provide advice on current issues and establish cooperation between projects and countries, as well as familiarize themselves with the features of project implementation in different countries.

The event was attended by about 420 participants from 79 countries.

The winning teams from higher educational institutions of Ukraine received instructions and gained information and practical skills on the new rules and features regarding the implementation of the projects of the Erasmus + KA2 Program: Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education (CBHE), and also built new relations with representatives of offices and agencies with the aim of further synergy and maintaining a successful level of implementation of the EU Erasmus + Program for Ukrainian stakeholders.
