On February 25-26, 2019 the representatives of «Stolt Tankers B.V.» visited National University «Odessa Maritime Academy» in order to meet with the Rector and discuss the future development perspectives for cooperation. During the meeting, a presentation on the company’s activities was held. It should be noted that NU «ОМА» and «Stolt Tankers B.V.» have been cooperating for many years with the aim of providing cadets with a full training program, expanding their knowledge and skills for further work. In addition, during an excursion around the university’s educational buildings, the guests were acquainted with the facilities and the up-to-date maritime simulators.

In the framework of the cadetship program, an interview to select the university’s cadets was conducted. Upon successful completion of the interviews’ stages, the cadets will be able to work for «Stolt Tankers B.V.» company for the period of on-board training.

The Cadetship Program provides the cadets with the opportunity to gain practical experience, start their professional activity from the second year of education, obtain the basic training required for their career growth as well as work and grow fast on modern vessels installed with the latest equipment. The Program also pays special attention to the formation of a highly professional and competent personnel. All necessary development and implementation of this Program is carried out in close cooperation with foreign companies, in particular with «Stolt Tankers B.V.».
