The cadets of Maritime Law and Management Faculty of NU «ОМА» participated in the public forum, within the framework of “Negotiation” project under the guidance of O.A. Dolgopolova, PhD, Professor of Maritime Law Department on December 6, 2016. From conflict to dialogue and overcome the trauma Südost Europa Kultur e. V. (Berlin), the public forum was held at Impact Hub Odessa with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany. 

This forum is the final stage of the project to overcome the trauma and to support the Ukrainian society in a crisis situation, that the public organization “Südost Europa Kultur” implemented in Ukraine from September to December 2016.

The project has already held workshops, trainings and seminars in Kharkiv, Dnieper, Zaporozhye, Odessa and Kiev.

The purpose of this public forum in Odessa is to draw public attention to the actual process, to create a preliminary basis for dialogue as well as to define the ways and possibilities of interaction between different groups of society. 

The Forum will be held in the form of podium discussions with historians, sociologists and psychologists from Ukraine, Germany, England, Latvia and Lithuania to analyze the situation in the country, reveal an analogy as well as consider current processes and opportunities for transformation of the society and individuals.
