On November 18-19, 2021 Scientific and theoretical conference “Navigation, maritime transportation and technology” is being held on the Zoom platform at the premises of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”.

The event was attended by the representatives of the Technical University of Varna, cadets and teachers-scientists: doctors, professors, associate professors from the following departments: navigation, ship handling, maritime transportation, electronic navigation systems, theory and structure of a ship, marine technology, English language. The event was opened by I.I. Vorokhobin, the Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Navigation of NU “OMA”, the plenary report was made by M.V. Miyusov, the Rector of NU “OMA”.

Conference topics address the following issues: modern methods and means of river and sea navigation; safety of navigation; vessel traffic control; development of transport technologies of maritime transportation; development of E-navigation systems; human factor, training of specialists.

According to the results of the conference, “Conference Proceedings” are to be published and the best reports will be recommended for publication in the scientific collection “Navigation” (included in the category “B” of professional publications of the Ministry of Education and Science).
