Law Firm “ANK” held the solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the 13th Scholarship Competition on March 16, 2018.
The scholarship competition for students of law schools and faculties has been conducted since 2001 by Law Firm “ANK” and offers new prospects and opportunities for further professional development and employment. Law Firm “ANK” was the first among Ukrainian law firms that started conducting a scholarship competition, and later such an initiative was supported by other legal companies.

The event was attended by the honorary guests, namely: Igor Koval, Rector of Odessa National University named after  I.I. Mechnikov; I. Bronz, Chairman of Disciplinary and Qualification Commission of Odessa Bar Association; D. Kolodin, Dean of the Faculty of Civil and Commercial Justice of National University “Odessa Academy of Law”, Associate Professor; O. Savich, Head of Maritime Law Department of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”, Associate Professor.

The following members of the Scholarship competition in the name of V.Vishnevsky, senior lecturer of Maritime law Department of NU “OMA”, I. Danilova, senior lecturer of Civil and Labour Law Department of NU “OMA”, E. Karmazina, Chair of Constitutional Law and Justice of ONU Mechnikov, Associate professor, Lawyer and  A. Volkov,  Head of Maritime Law Practice of ANK Law Office, Attorney-at-law participated in the solemn ceremony.

According to the Decision of the Scholarship competition, the winner became Igor Kasyanov, a student of National Law University named after Yaroslav Mudryi. The third place was taken by Diana Zhukova, a cadet representing National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”. The prize-winners of the contest will receive half-year scholarships in the amount of 1500, 1200 and 1000 hrn. a month and will have theopportunity to undertake an internship at Law Firm “ANK” during the summer holidays.

Law Firm “ANK” will continue such a great tradition, and the next Scholarship Competition will be announced as early as October 2018.
