The opening of the language laboratory took place in Naval Institute of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” on December 27, 2017. This would enable to implement the educational process as well as improve the level of language training for cadets using STONAG 6001 lev 2222. Oleksiy Neizhpapa, Deputy Commander of the Ukrainian Navy for Combat Training, Rear Admiral stressed that such level of language training would allow future officers of the Ukrainian Navy to participate in joint international exercises and hold positions in the multinational headquarters of NATO for the period of their deployment.
