On 16-18 March, 2017, National University «Odessa Maritime Academy» participated in VIII International exhibition “Modern Educational Establishments-2017” and V International Exhibition of education abroad “World Edu” which took place in Kyiv Palace of Children and Youth. Organizer: Company “Exhibitions World” with the support and participation of Ministry of  Education and Science of Ukraine and National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.

The exhibition was attended by national higher educational establishments and research institutions (140); foreign institutions, international educational agencies, embassies (20); secondary, preschool and after-school educational establishments, regional and city administration (departments) of education; vocational educational establishments, scientific and methodological centers of vocational education, manufacturers and suppliers of  learning tools, projects, programs and solutions for educational field, funds, associations, publishing houses, educational portals (a total amount was more than 800).

The exhibition included scientific conferences, workshops, presentations, seminars, round tables, master classes and competitions for the audience. International educational exhibition brought  together participants of the educational process in the search for effective ways to improve the quality of national education, the development of  international educational projects. The applicants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of admission to educational institutions, the choice of future profession, Bachelor and Master programmes, preparatory university courses and learn about the specifics of education in Ukraine and abroad.

 V.G. Kremen, President of National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine and representatives of the Ministry of  Education and Science of Ukraine attended an opening ceremony.

National University «Odessa Maritime Academy» was awarded the Grand Prix “Leader of International Activities”, the gold medal in “Partnership as a strategic resource of innovative development of education”, certificate “Quality of scientific publications” in terms of  the ranking of international Scientometrics database Scopus. M.V. Miyusov, the Rector of NU «OMA» was awarded Certificate of Merit for long fruitful organizational activities to ensure the quality of national education. The delegation from NU «OMA» consisted of employees of Advertisement and Information Department represented by O.N. Mazur, Head of Advertisement and Information Department of  NU «OMA», E.M. Maricheva and Y.G. Sagaidak, specialists of the Department.
