The delegation of the Royal Navy of the British Armed Forces HM Armed Forces, headed by the Head of Staff of the Royal Navy Command Commodore Iain S. Lower visited the Institute of Naval Forces of NU «OMA» on November 27th.

The main goal of the event was to maintain a military dialogue and discuss topical issues of regional security and identify priority areas for bilateral military cooperation.

During the visit, a protocol meeting between the Deputy Commander of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the combat training of Rear Admiral Olexiy Neiyzhapa with the British delegation headed by the Head of Staff of the Royal Navy Command Commodore Iain S. Lower took place.
The colleagues discussed the security situation in the region and the main directions of further cooperation, studied the possibilities of providing assistance to the Ukrainian Navy.

The British delegation participated in the briefing at the Institute of Naval Forces of the National University «Odessa Maritime Academy» and got acquainted with the educational material base and discussed the organization of the training system of the Naval Forces personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
