On June 15, 2018 the representatives of the Consul Office of the Slovak Ambassy in Kiev arrived at Odessa in the framework of a working visit to Ukraine in order to discuss opportunities for trade and economic cooperation, especially in the field of information technologies.

The delegation in the name of Dusan Matulay, Ambassador, Director General for Economic Cooperation at Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic; Mrs. Soňa Karjčová, the First Secretary of the Consul Office of the Slovak Ambassy in Kiev; Stanislav Filip, Assoc.prof., PhD at School of Economics and Management in Public Administration in Bratislava; Mario Lelovsky, the First Vice-President at IT Asociacia Slovenska arrived at National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” to get acquainted with the leadership of the University and discuss the issues for further cooperation.

The main goal of the meeting was the presentation of the newly created Joint Slovak-Ukrainian Master Degree program in IT education.
