On November 11, 2021 National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” hosted a meeting between Mr. Etienne de Ponsen, the French Ambassador to Ukraine, Colonel Andree Evrard, Defense Attaché of the French Embassy in Ukraine, Senior Master Sergeant Aurélie Le Roux, Assistant Defense Attaché of the French Embassy in Ukraine, Ms. Pauline Mofre, Embassy’s press attaché. Besides, Ms. Oksana Panchenko, Assistant Translator and Defense Attaché of the French Embassy in Ukraine, Ms. Filipin Chevalier, Trainee of the French Embassy in Ukraine, Colonel Ralph Mayer, Defence Attaché of the German Embassy to Ukraine, and Assistant Defense Attaché of the German Embassy arrived at National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”to meet with the leadership, the Rector of the university, familiarize with the facilities and activities, as well as to establish contact with Naval Institute of NU “OMA” for further cooperation with the Defense Affairs Service of the French Embassy in Ukraine. This visit was joined to the Day of Reconciliation in the First World War, which is celebrated on 11 November. The guests had the opportunity to see the latest training simulators and equipment during an excursion around academic buildings.
