On August 21, 2019, Prof. Vadym Zakharchenko, Vice–Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Affairs of National University «Odessa Maritime Academy» and Dr. Marek Frankowicz, the representative of Jagiellonian University in Krakow (Poland) had a work meeting.

Dr. M. Frankowicz and Prof. V. Zakharchenko are the main authors of the Erasmus + program  project application “Qualifications recognition support for Ukrainian universities (QuaRSU)”, which became the winner of the 2019 Call in the category “Capacity Building in higher education (CBHE)“.

The Project foresees the approbation of the best European practices in recognition of educational and professional qualifications and learning outcomes including formal, non-formal and informal at Ukrainian universities. QuaRSU Project is a structural project in the higher educational system of Ukraine and foresees the implementation of its outputs and outcomes at the national level.

According to the terms of Erasmus + program, the project is scheduled to start in November 2019, and its implementation is scheduled for 2019 – 2022. Dr. M. Frankowicz is the project coordinator, Prof. V. Zakharchenko is the national coordinator for Ukrainian partners.

The project partnership includes higher educational institutions, professional organizations and qualifications authorities of Ukraine, Poland, Estonia, Ireland, and Portugal

During a working meeting, Dr. M. Frankowicz and Prof. V. Zakharchenko discussed and agreed on a plan of priority actions to prepare the project start and organize effective interaction between partners.
