On April 22, 2021, XV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Maritime Law and Management: Evolution and Modern Challenges” was held at National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” in online mode.

The purpose of the conference was to discuss current international and national issues of legal regulation and management in the field of the use of the World Ocean in the context of globalization and European integration.

O.M. Shemyakin,Vice-Rector of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy”, Doctor of Law, Professor and N.A. Savinova, Dean of Educational and Scientific Institute of Maritime Law and Management, Doctor of Law, senior staff scientist delievered welcoming speeches.

Within the framework of the conference, five panel discussions covered the following topics: maritime law and national security; modern issues of the versatility of management and safety in the field of sea and river transport; anthropologization of modern maritime education: soft skills; mediation and conflict management; maritime innovation, threats and social interaction of the Information Day.

At the end of the meeting, the outcomes of the importance of this topic in international maritime law were summed up. Speakers and conference participants who have submitted their abstracts for publication will receive a participant certificate and a printed copy of the published conference materials.
