Round table “Practical Training Efficiency“ was held in National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” on April 19, 2017. The meeting was moderated by M.V. Miyusov, the Rector of NU «ОМА».

The meeting discussed the following issues: mentoring on-board and ashore, training ships, TRB and assessment of OBT results, simulation and laboratory training.

The quests were given the excursion around the premises of University as well as demonstration of the following simulators and laboratories such as TRANSAS Naviation Simulator NTPro5000, Simulator for Electro-Technical Officers Training, Kongsberg Engine Room Simulator Wartsila 12RT-FLEX 82, Laboratory of turning machines for ship engineers.
