As a part of the integration processes between the National University “Odesa Maritime Academy” (NUOMA) and the Odesa National Maritime University (ONMU), the academic staff of NUOMA held lectures and practical classes for ONMU students of the first (Bachelor’s) and second (Master’s) levels of higher education under ONMU educational and professional programs, specialization J5.03 “Operation and Maintenance of Ship’s Electrical Equipment and Means of Automation.” The classes were held using the material and technical facilities of the departments of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Automation and Electrical Engineering of NUOMA.
For the first (Bachelor’s) level of higher education, the following activities were conducted: Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Automation and Electrical Engineering, Vitalii Budashko – held classes in the discipline “Operation and Maintenance of Ship High-Voltage Equipment”; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, Mykola Mukha held the practical class on the topic “High-Voltage Equipment and Protection Devices”; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Ship Technical Operation, Valerii Shevchenko – the lecture on the topic “Ship’s High-Voltage Generators”.
For the second (Master’s) level of higher education Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Vitalii Budashko conducted classes for the discipline “Combined Electric Power Complexes.”
