Paul James, Chief Operating Officer of IMarEST (Great Britain) attended National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” on April 19, 2017. The meeting between Sergey Karyanskyy, Honorary Secretary of Odessa branch of IMarEST and Paul James, Executive Director of IMarEST took place in Odessa branch of IMarEST located on the basis of NU «ОМА».

The meeting discussed the issue of the subsequent (fourth) accreditation of all engineering specialties and educational programmes to the highest level of Chartered Engineer.

Besides, the representatives of Odessa branch and IMarEST of Great Britain discussed the issues of further cooperation, terms of the process of joining the Institute, payment of membership fees, grants, use of electronic library as well as new opportunities for cooperation between NU «ОМА» and IMarEST.
