Water polo competitions for the championship in the swimming pool of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” took place on January 20-21, 2017. The competition was attended by two teams of Navigation and Marine Engineering Faculties as well as three teams of the city of Odessa who took part out of the competition. Among the teams of the University’s Faculties the places were distributed as follows: Navigation Faculty took the top place, Marine Engineering Faculty took the second one and the third place was taken by the second team of Navigation Faculty. These competitions are the next stage in preparing for the competitions for the Cup of the Federation of Water Polo, which will be held at the end of February on the big Water polo field in the basin of NU “OMA”.
