Sports festival “Sports Day” on the eve of the Teachers’ Day was held at the water station of National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” on September 30, 2017. A ceremonial parade was held to sum up the sports results of the academic year and award the Faculties that had become the winners and prize-winners of NU “OMA” Sports Games and regional student competitions.

Igor Frasinyuk, Vice-Rector on Scientific-Pedagogical and Educational Work awarded the Cup and Certificate of Honor the Faculty of Navigation for the 1st place. Marine Engineering Faculty and Naval Institute of NU “OMA” occupied accordingly the 2d and 3d places.

In addition, there were competitions in arm-wrestling, kettlebell-lifting, darts and tug-of-war. Sports tournaments were emotional and excited. The competition prize winners received honorary mentions and valuable prizes.
