On March 5, 2025, the International Forum “Sustainability and Development: Public Governance and Innovation” was held in Lviv. Forum was organized within the framework of the National Platform “Three Seas Initiative – Ukraine”.
The Forum brought together experts, scientists, representatives of local governments, businesses, and civil society organizations from Ukraine and Poland to strengthen cooperation and development. The goal of the forum was to exchange experience in the field of sustainable development, recovery and reconstruction, the development of innovations and public administration, as well as attract investments and create a network of partnerships between Poland and Ukraine.
The forum was attended by the Acting Rector of the National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” Professor Mykhaylo Miyusov, the Vice-Rector of the university Professor Vadym Zakharchenko and the heads of separate subdivisions of the university – Director of the Danube Institute Professor Valentyn Chymshyr and Director of the Danube Professional College Andriy Kononenko.
Professor Mykhaylo Miyusov delivered a presentation on the educational and scientific capacity of the National University “Odessa Maritime Academy” within the panel discussion “University of the Future as a Geopolitical Challenge of Ukraine.” Also, university representatives took part in a discussion on the development of cooperation between higher education institutions of Ukraine and other countries – members of the Three Seas Initiative, and on the launch of joint scientific and innovative projects.
